User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X 10.4; en-US; rv:1.9.0.14) Gecko/2009082706 Firefox/3.0.14 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X 10.4; en-US; rv:1.9.0.14) Gecko/2009082706 Firefox/3.0.14 If you hit command+l too much with no windows open, Firefox has to be shut down and opened back up to continue functioning. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open Firefox. 2. Close all open windows. 3. Hit Command+L 5 or 6 times. Actual Results: The browser will open will a location bar that won't take you anywhere. There will be several windows open go to an address. Everything can be closed, but then you can't open anything. The only menu available will be the main "Firefox" menu. Expected Results: Open a new browser window and just leave the cursor in the location bar.
WFM with Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9.3a1pre) Gecko/20091010 Minefield/3.7a1pre (.NET CLR 3.5.30729) barely any change in cpu when using trunk. I would hope the same with version 3.5. Can you reproduce using version 3.5? http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/firefox.html?from=getfirefox when started in safe mode? https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode
