Details
The issues are: signing keys on the slaves, and race conditions rsyncing the deb repo if multiple slaves do a nightly build simultaneously.
The solution bhearsum/catlee floated was to have a separate, dedicated update machine (use the same vm (prometheus?) that does firefox updates? or another one?) that has the signing key and notices when nightly builds finish. It can then download the nightly, sign, and upload the repository on a periodic basis.
The nightly key can be separate from the release key.
The process becomes much more involved if we need to do this for 75 locales, but we don't have debs for those yet.
