RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 523303

People

(Reporter: thomas8, Unassigned)

Details

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1.4pre) Gecko/20090930 Shredder/3.0pre

steps

1 do a faceted search for "wayne"
2 search results show 10 out of 47 messages, folders are Drafts, Inbox, Sent
3 first 4 messages are messages from me to Wayne (and today is Wednesday):
Thomas (yesterday),
Thomas (Montag),
Thomas (22:50)
Thomas (yesterday)
I understand they are currently sorted by mysterious "relevance" criterion
4 click on "sort by: date"

Actual results:
- no changes whatsoever (only starred 0 and attachments 0 pop up on the left, why weren't they there in the first place?)
- messages not sorted by date, still as above in 3

Expected results:
- messages should be sorted by date:
Thomas (Montag)
Thomas (yesterday)
Thomas (yesterday)
Thomas (22:50)
(with my 47 results, it would probably look different, but you know what I mean)
Thomas anything in Tools -> Error console just after you click on the date sort ?
Warning: Cannot specify value for internal property. Error in parsing value for '-x-system-font'. Declaration dropped.

Confirming this bug in 3.0pre 20091001 win32 builds.

Sorting by date doesn't work. Todays build doesn't show relevant errors in console (only some xhtml "-x-system-font" errors).

After clicking on the "Sort by Date" button, the left column unhides the "flagged" option.
