I'm not sure if this is a case of extensions that need changing or a core bug. But sometimes when I go back using the rocker navigation from the fire gestures extension then any left click in the browser client area does nothing. And the cursor does not change either over the whole browser client area. Right clicking is the easiest way to get out of the situation. But it's better to right click on chrome since right clicking on the page can do weird things like going back again which doesn't clear the problem.
I got this to happen in a new profile with just the fire gestures and noscript extensions. You have to enable the rocker navigation gestures in fire gesture's options. And set them to navigate forward and backwards.
Then the best way I've found to trigger the problem is the navigate forward then very quickly navigate back. Both times using rocker navigation which is to hold left mouse button then click the right mouse button to go forward. And vice-versa for going back.
It's not 100% reproducible. So try it a number of times.
The regression range I found was this started with the 9-14 nightly build.

Which that seems to point to bug 503943 in my amateur opinion.

Closing this old not likely to hit bug. And that's if it is still there.
