In the preferences screen, when we select to "Clear recent browsing history", after hitting the "Clear" button, there is no dialog to confirm/deny the action

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to the Preferences tab
2. Click the "Clear" button with Clear recent browsing history

Actual Results:
Clear button is no longer selectable, and history is deleted

Expected Results:
Clear button is no longer selectable, and history is deleted

aakashd asked me to file a bug to discuss whether or not to add a confirmation dialog verify if a user truly wishes to delete their recent history. On Mozilla for instance it prompts a dialog asking how far back in the history the user wishes to delete.

This is confirmed, now its a case of whether its something that will be fixed
Status: UNCONFIRMED → NEW
Ever confirmed: true
We had a previous bug that overlaps a little: bug 491885
Also, it's kind of the Fennec way to _not_ use modal prompts to confirm things. Instead we favor allowing the user to "undo". There is a general effort underway to look at "undoable" actions.
I can understand the trend towards "less" of multiple menus/UIs, also the undo action. However I noticed that once you hit the "Clear" button, it "resets" after about 5 seconds, where you can Clear the browsing history presumably again. Can we at least keep the Clear button non-selectable to indicate that the Clear action has completed and not-selectable until more entries are added to the browsing history?
Confirmed in the Linux desktop builds.
