For some pages I have to use the proxy of my university. I use FoxyProxy as an add-on to handle this. This works well, apart from the password requests. I store the passwords within Firefox, so the password request is filled out already. What I really don't not understand why there is not a checkbox "[ ] login automatically next time".

Reproducible: Always
There should be a checkbox on the dialog itself, yes. There is a checkbox in the proxy settings, "Do not prompt for authentication if password is saved". However, this does nothing for me. Even after deleting the .mozilla folder and starting new again, the checkbox is still non-functional. I still get the pop-up every time I start Firefox, albeit with the fields filled out...
Severity: normal → S3
