Looks like this didn't do the trick. May need to actually restart apache too, dunno. Still timing out a lot.

I restarted both deki and httpd on both webheads about 15 minutes ago, it didn't help.  Something else is broken.

Also, suddenly I can no longer log into the site. I fill out the login page,
and it just sends me back to the page I was on before without logging me in.
Something's definitely messed up.
Does this mean anything to anyone: ?

I have a ticket for this problem with MindTouch and pasted that info into it.

Waiting to hear back from MindTouch still. Their guy was able to log in fine on his account, so not sure what's going on. Other people can too. Why it's just happening to me, I don't know.

OK, I deleted my cookies for developer.mozilla.org and the login now works correctly.

Leaving this open for a few more minutes until it's clear whether or not the restart fixed things in terms of the timeouts.
