With html5.enable=false the page completes without a problem. Reproducible: Always This happens in WinXP and in Vista Home Basic. It also happens with Seamonkey 2.1a1pre as well (Vista. (nb. not sure if putting this as HTML parser is correct!)

Yes, this is most likely the same issue as bug 509851. Let's see if fixing that one fixes this one, too.
