Imagine a thread with 3 messages:
A
|-B
|-C
Now B is superseded by B'. The thread will look like:
A
|--C
|-B'
Thunderbird should use the Supersedes: header to put B' in the place of B (and provide some UI to indicate that the replies were not originally to B' but to another, deleted, message for which B' is the replacement.
Reproducible: Always

Hi, Sorry for my bad English.
Product should be MailNews Core instead of Thunderbird and it is not platform dependent.
And this bug should be referenced by bug #176238 : Make Mozilla not suck as a newsreader
