I'm using VC Express with SDK 7.0.  Apparently this error doesn't manifest on all combinations of VC/SDK.

One-line fix, testing now.
The fix is apparently correct, but still failed because "shwlapi.lib" couldn't be found by the MSVC linker.  Investigating.
Whoops, typo: should have been "shlwapi.lib".  Testing again.
