Seems like the other apps on the device assume they run in full-screen mode only, and there's no taskbar to select applications. This means if you minimize a browser window, you can't easily get it back. [You can open a new browser window, which brings all the app windows to the front, or Control-Alt-Delete and select from the task manager.] We could just disable the minimize button. Maybe even just only run maximized?
