Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; de; rv:1.9.1.3) Gecko/20090824 Firefox/3.5.3

I have a Firefox window open with more than one tab, say three or four. I'm reading a website and want to switch to another one. I click on its tab, but instead of presenting me the other website, Firefox opens a new window with this tab and drops it from the other window.

I never dragged the tab out of the window though, I just clicked on it to switch to it. It happens far too often and I always have to drag the tab back to the parent window.

Reproducible: Sometimes

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Have more than one tab open
2. Switch from one tab to another by clicking on one
3. Be appalled that the tab opens in a new browser window instead
Actual Results:
I'm appalled.

Expected Results:
Switch to the other tab by staying in the same browser window.

Windows XP SP3, 2GB RAM
