5217 - [PP]selecting text in location bar causes mouseover on buttons

When you select text in the url location toolbar the back, Forward, Stop, reload, and collapse toolbar widget act as if they have
been moused.

*to see
	check out a recent build, say 1999041608 and try to select text in the location field.
*expected
	you should be able to select text as it suits your fancy with no ill affects
*actual
	selection works but as you approach the left half of the location field the Nav buttons begin to show mouseOvers.

checked on Win and Mac and no ill effects were observed

per comments in bug 5191 the current behaviour is to not only reflect the mouseover on the buttons when in the left part of the
loation field but the button action is also triggered when you click in the field.

this is not my bug i know it. selection in location bar is not me.  i will
reverify though

i cant seem to figure out who this belongs to to check.  The url bar is not geko
engine just platform specific so I can tell you why its doing what it is.  Find
someone in XPapps to pass this too.

This seems to be a dupe of an old, possibly closed, Linux bug where the event
over text fields were coming into Gecko as if they were from the base
widget.  Thus an event at 10,10 in the text field was interpreted internally as
10,10 in the main window.  Ramiro, you still have that bug?

yes, there used to be a bug that caused text field to submit button events.  i
fixed it in m5.

I just tried this in the apprunner (may 18 build) and i can select all kinds of
text in the location field without having funkiness in the toolbar buttons.

Per a request from Selection and Search component eng (mjudge) and qa (elig),
moving all "Selection and Search" bugs to new "Selection" component.  Original
"Selection and Search" component will be retired.
