when i add imacros https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/3863 it makes a sidebar that i must use to play back the macros. but i cannot minimize this sidebar. if i close it, i lose the macro i had selected/ painful if it is in a sub folder etc

can we please have a UI that allows us to minimize things without having to close them, or resize freely. the user can figure out that they cannot see the components, ormaybe have a spring back place - which springs back the control to preferred size - like it was in netscape and is in opera.

will enabling using the sidebar effectively and viewing a web page without horizontal scroll

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. install imacros
2. open side bar
3. try to minimize sidebar without closing it so you can see a web page without horizontol scroll
Actual Results:  
cannot rezise beyond a minimum nor can collapse without resetting/  close

Expected Results:  
be able to resize as much as i want or minimise

Reporter, are you still seeing this issue with Firefox 3.6.13 or later in safe mode or a fresh profile? If not, please close. These links can help you in your testing.

This bug has had the CLOSEME tag for several weeks and the date in the tag is far gone. If the reporter can still see this issue, Please retest with Firefox 3.6.x or later and a new profile (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles). Then please remove the closeme tag in the whiteboard, mark the bug against the proper version and comment on the bug.

i made a new profile

re installed i macros in new profile

when ff restarted after plugin install can see same side bar

Not sure about this bug. Dont use imacros. Just got an email about it... i still use FF but dont have this issue personally. If no one else facing the issue - should I close it or let it be?

FYI using a Mac desktop, when I open the in built Book marks side bar, I still cannot minimize the side bar. advantage is that like in eclipse its easier to minimize and then spring back side bars. So a minimize button on side bars when open and a restore icon on the left margin of window when minimized will be nice.
