Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1.3) Gecko/20090824 Firefox/3.5.3 GTB6 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729)
The date/time shown in print preview does not match the date time properties in Windows XP. It adds 7 hours into the future in the footer. My computer is set to the PST time zone. It appears to use GMT instead of PST, i.e., 7 hours ahead. IE 8.0.6001.18702 gives the correct time in PST in the preview and printout in the footer. I'm using FireFox 3.5.3
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
0.Confirm computer time zone to set to PST if you are in the Pacific time zone
1.In page setup include date/ time in the footer
2.Check print preview for any page and compare footer date time with XP date time properties
3.The time in the footer is GMT instead of PST, i.e., 7 hours ahead
4 There no indication that GMT is being used.
Actual Results:
The time in the footer is GMT instead of PST, i.e., 7 hours ahead
Expected Results:
The date time in the footer should match the date time set up in the XP date time properties,
There is no header or footer in the printout of Thunderbird emails even if they are included in the page setup. This is a serious problem if webpage or email printouts need to be correctly time stamped for business purposes and possible litigation.

FWIW, I get expected (non-buggy) behavior -- PST time shown in print-preview -- in my Linux mozilla-central and firefox-3.5 nightly builds.

I'm using Windows XP Pro SP 3 with all the latest Windows updates installed Oct 17 including the last bunch containing 19 of them.

I've corrected the title to replace PST with PDT e.g., GMT-7, since we have not switched to standard time yet.
Replace all instances of PST with PDT in the previous comments.
This seems to have occurred after the large number of updates this week for Windows XP which appears to have caused other problems by installing two bad plugins into FireFox without permission.
Summary: wrong date time in printout and preview - GMT instead of PST → wrong date time in printout and preview - GMT instead of PDT

do you see this issue still with version 3.6 or 4.0 beta?

Jim, thanks for the update. Please use WORKSFORME, not FIXED, when the patch or fixing bug is not known.
