TB3 beta 4 as well as current nightlie vs TB2
over same old TB2 profile, pop server smtp

TB3:
-create a msg and try to send, "Login failed," constantly
-save draft, try again, same same ...
TB2:
-open draft and sent successfully

reproducing always

I have two accounts for the respective server, (the one with my bugzilla mail), both fail same. Gmails are ok. TB2 does ok
It started when using Tb3 over respective profile.

Checking accounts settings, outgoing smtp settings seam identical.
The problem was very simple:
[Account manager, outgoing server SMTP, edit respective server settings]
In tb3, right in the image, there is an additional check on
[v]"use secure authentication"

it was checked and I had to uncheck (yes I know, old crappy server..) though the incoming similar server did not have that checked

thus TB2 was probably using the unchecked as in the incoming server set, while TB3 assumed it should be checked.

It may seam minor and wfm, limited users to use such server, but it's still a bug on upgrading and TB3 assumed wrong this check.
