Places node names (for example, Tags and Unfiled Bookmarks) need to come from the application, not from places.sqlite

Details |
Steps to reproduce:
1. Create a profile using Firefox localized into language A.
2. Start Firefox with that profile, and then close it.
3. Start Firefox localized into language B with the same profile.
This messes up the Places node names, for an example, see the screenshot attached.
Filed for investigation based on Marco's request. I can help test this further if needed.

Not sure what "messes up" is. Can you detail on what's the behaviour, and what's the expected behaviour?
Bug 375067 might be related.

Sorry for the vague description. Here is what happens. After Step 3, the following labels in the Library window are shown in language A, while the rest of the labels (as well as UI elements) are shown in language B.

partially fixed with with bug 525299.
That will ensure current code works correctly (please ehsan try it and let me know)
That won't completey solve this though, about the fact we should dynamically replace titles in frontend rather than fixing them in the db.

Bug 451915 - move Firefox/Places bugs to Firefox/Bookmarks and History. Remove all bugspam from this move by filtering for the string "places-to-b-and-h".
In Thunderbird 3.0b, you do that as follows:
Tools | Message Filters
Make sure the correct account is selected. Click "New"
Conditions: Body contains places-to-b-and-h
Change the action to "Delete Message".
Select "Manually Run" from the dropdown at the top.
Click OK.
Select the filter in the list, make sure "Inbox" is selected at the bottom, and click "Run Now". This should delete all the bugspam. You can then delete the filter.
