User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; pt-BR; rv:1.9.1) Gecko/20090616 Firefox/3.5
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; pt-BR; rv:1.9.1) Gecko/20090616 Firefox/3.5
There are 2 problems with this. The first is that Windows doesn't do this. Deleting a document from the recent documents folder will delete the document from there, not somewhere else too. The second is that the rest of Firefox doesn't do this. Deleting a favorite from a folder will delete it from there, not somewhere else too.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
the configurations in my computer and yours are different
Actual Results:
Many of my favorites are gone!
Expected Results:
Only the favorites that I deleted would be deleted.

Bug 451915 - move Firefox/Places bugs to Firefox/Bookmarks and History. Remove all bugspam from this move by filtering for the string "places-to-b-and-h".
In Thunderbird 3.0b, you do that as follows:
Tools | Message Filters
Make sure the correct account is selected. Click "New"
Conditions: Body contains places-to-b-and-h
Change the action to "Delete Message".
Select "Manually Run" from the dropdown at the top.
Click OK.
Select the filter in the list, make sure "Inbox" is selected at the bottom, and click "Run Now". This should delete all the bugspam. You can then delete the filter.

In Windows:
1. click Start
2. click Recent Documents
3. right-click a document
4. select delete
You will see that the document was removed from Recent Documents, BUT NOT FROM THE OTHER FOLDER WHERE IT WAS
1. click Bookmarks
2. click Bookmarks Toolbar
3. click Recent Bookmarks
4. right-click a bookmark
5. select delete
You will see that the bookmark was removed from Recent Bookmarks AND FROM THE OTHER FOLDER WHERE IT WAS
It's counter-intuitive.
Done, Wayne, numbered steps! :-)
