If I look in the registry here :

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall

I see the folder of Mozilla Firefox :

Mozilla Firefox (3.0.5)

This version 3.0.5 don't match my current version installed : 

3.5.3



Reproducible: Didn't try

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open the registry in Windows 
2. Check the value in the folder of Mozilla Firefox
3. 
Actual Results:  
The old version displayed


Expected Results:  
The correct version displayed

same thing happened with mine, 3.5.5 was in the uninstaller, using 3.5.6. HAD TO DOWNLOAD 3.5.6 and reinstall, LETTING IT UPDATE 5 to 6 DOES NOT CHANGE THE UNINSTALLER VERSION. also, gametap plugin updater was looping, probably cuz of the version error, not confirmed.

No reply, INCOMPLETE. Please retest with Firefox 4 or later and a new profile (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles). If you continue to see this issue with the newest firefox and a new profile, then please comment on this bug.
