User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; en-US; rv:1.9.1.3) Gecko/20090824 Firefox/3.5.3 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; en-US; rv:1.9.1.3) Gecko/20090824 Firefox/3.5.3 Click Bookmarks. Click Bookmark this Page. The black dialog box asking for location, tags, etc. does not appear; the bookmark is simply added to the bottom of the list. I have the same edition of Firefox on my Mac book, and it works properly. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Click bookmarks 2.Click Bookmark this page 3.No dialog appears Actual Results: Bookmark is added to the bottom of the list Expected Results: Dialog box to appear asking where, tags, etc. The feature works properly on the same edition of Firefox on my Mac notebook.
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9.2.3) Gecko/20100401 Firefox/3.6.3 ( .NET CLR 3.5.30729) I began experiencing the same bug today. I noticed it around the same time that I also noticed that ctrl-w does not always close the current tab (or window, if only one tab is open). To my knowledge I had not made any preference changes or updates to Firefox.
Looks like an add-on conflicting, try safe mode http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Safe+Mode
