The Weave 0.8pre2 allows the user to specify a custom Weave server in its "Start Over" process, but that's the only time you get to see which server is being used.
In an already-configured setup, you can't check which weave server you're using. (aside from checking the debug logs, or about:config)
This isn't really a big deal now, but I imagine it'll be more of an issue as Weave starts auto-shifting pre-release users over to the dev server, and people start getting confused about why their account doesn't exist on the server they're connecting to.
