Overview: When mail starts the login dialog appears. Enter your password and it 
reports "Login Failed".

Expected Results: It should accept my password and retrieve messages.

I am also seeing this on windows and linux modern skins.  Am able to open with
mac classic skin.  checking the others now to see if skin is related.
