I hit this assertion a lot now, when using popup menus and scrolling, and at other times. ###!!! ASSERTION: null widget ptr: 'nsnull != aWidget', file nsView.cpp, line 203
Status: NEW → ASSIGNED
Target Milestone: --- → Future
Although it is safe for the calling code to pass a null widget to nsView::GetViewFor(nsIWidget* aWidget) it may indicate a problem in the calling code since it meaningless to ask for the view associated with "no widget".
Is this assert still happening?
I still see it occasionally, usually when scrolling a popup XUL menu or something.

Still happens, I think becauase of Mac IME code in widget.
