+++ This bug was initially created as a clone of Bug #525114 +++

Shyam hooked us up with outgoing.stage.m.o in bug 525114. This bug is for production. Same rules apply:

- This will be a simple PHP script
- This doesn't need db connectivity
- This doesn't need SSL
- This won't use any new libraries or plugins that aren't standard
- This should be fairly low traffic for now, and the URLs are fully front-end cacheable
- It can have the same contacts/owners as AMO (for documentation and signoff)

I've created http://svn.mozilla.org/projects/outgoing.mozilla.org/trunk/ so IT can get this setup while we're working on code. Please check out that URL at the site root (we're not going to use tags for now).

Thanks.
mrz, oremj..ideas on where to put this? Static might be okay...it's a simple URL redirector...but will be called for all user entered URLs on AMO.

I'd put it on generic.
Alright, generic it is.
Ready with the puppet side of stuff, The data push is fairly trivial.

mrz, need a hand with the netscaler and this should be good to go.
Current AMO timeline will require this ready before Nov 12. Not critical yet, just giving y'all a heads up.

Wil, outgoing.m.o is now live, I need to setup config.php with the salt (ping me over IRC?) and push it out, and then you can go ahead and give it a spin. Right now it's just blank paging :)

The salt doesn't matter - choose something random, (e.g. `head /dev/urandom | sha256sum`). We'll need to make the salt the same when we push AMO next week but since this is up first it can have the salt first. Thanks.
