This is a feedback from Japanese users.

The first name or last name of Chinese, Japanese and Korean is often 1 characters.  For example, my name is Makoto, but this uses 1 Kanji character only.

So, when I type my name by Kanji on search bar, drop-down list for auto-complete isn't appeared due to 1 character.  Because current code is hard-coded that it needs 3 characters.

If CJK character is typed, search bar should appears drop-down list for contact search even if length is 1.

The strategy looks good but I would appreciate it if you could also document in your comment what the character ranges you are accepting correspond to.  (I definitely appreciate the comment you have already added!)
