Using Vimperator, I use a lot the Open Web Location to load bookmarks.
In 3.5.4 the URLs load, dialog doesn't close after pressing enter. It repeats even after disabling Vimperator, in both Shiretoko and the branded FF.

I downgraded to 3.5.3 (but didn't downgrade xulrunner), and it works fine.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Use Vimperator or hide the Navigation Toolbar.
2.Press ALT+D to open the Web Location dialog.
3.Write/select a URL and press enter to load it.
Actual Results:  
URL is loaded, but dialog remains open.

Expected Results:  
Load the URL and close the dialog.

Arch Linux i686 (fully updated) with latest Firefox/Shiretoko and Xulrunner versions.

This behaviour/bug popped up on my machine after my sysadmin updated firefox, I like to have the possiblity of hiding the location bar, but would like the dialog to disappear after pressing enter. Here are my Firefox version and OS details:

Same here, just hide the Navigation Bar via the 'View' Menu and neither pressing Enter nor clicking Open will make the window dissapear. Using 3.5.5 on Ubuntu 9.10 & Ubuntu 9.10 Netbook Remix

Reporter, are you still seeing this issue with Firefox 3.6.13 or later in safe mode? If not, please close. These links can help you in your testing.

You can also try to reproduce in Firefox 4 Beta 8 or later, there are many improvements in the new version, http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-beta.html

No reply, INCOMPLETE. Please retest with Firefox 3.6.13 or later and a new profile (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Managing+profiles). If you continue to see this issue with the newest firefox and a new profile, then please comment on this bug.
