Hitting "Cancel" will freeze Firefox with the Properties dialog open, until I select "quit Firefox". (This action appears to close the dialog, unfreeze Firefox and not quit Firefox.) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.open Bookmarks in sidebar 2.right-click on a bookmark and select "Properties" 3.in the properties dialog, select "Cancel" Actual Results: Firefox freezes with properties dialog window open. Menu at top of screen shows "Firefox", but no other menu headers (File, Edit, View etc). If, once the properties dialog is frozen open, you select "Quit Firefox", the properties box closes and function is restored.
try safe mode please: http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Safe+Mode I highly suspect this is caused by an add-on.
Does this still happen with Firefox 3.6.13 or later or Firefox 4?
