Details
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1.4) Gecko/20091017 SeaMonkey/2.0 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1.4) Gecko/20091017 SeaMonkey/2.0 With all the previous versions of SeaMonkey, after the first use ever of SeaMonkey on a multi-display PC setup, SeaMonkey would always open the next time, on the screen it was closed on from the last session. Version 2.0 will not do that. I really need it to. I use my secondary monitor for web browsing so that it does not interfere with what I'm working on on the primary monitor. But now, if I open SeaMonkey, or click on a link that opens a new window, all windows open on the primary monitor. This pretty much makes SeaMonkey useless and I may have to go back to a previous version until this is fixed. If for some unknowable reason you decide not to fix this, please let me know so that I can abandon SeaMonkey and change to firefox or IE. Thanks. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open SeaMonkey 2. Move browser window to secondary monitor 3. Close browser, either from the X in the upper right or File then Exit 4. Re-open SeaMonkey, watch it open on the primary monitor Actual Results: New SeaMonkey windows ALWAYS open on the primary monitor, instead of opening on the last monitor SeaMonkey was active on. Expected Results: SeaMonkey should remember the last active monitor it was active on and open new windows on that monitor. I'm using the default theme. I'm using an ATI Raedon card, which does not have the ability to let me force applications to certain monitors like VIA chipset cards do, but I have not needed a feature to be able to force SeaMonkey to open on the secondary monitor in the past. Previous versions always remembered the last screen they were active on.

I figured out what I have to do to make it work. I was moving it to the secondary monitor and then maximizing and then it wouldn't save it. If I move it to the secondary monitor, then close it with File, Exit, then open it again, it will open on the secondary monitor. Then if I maximize it, it will save all the settings and open maximized on the secondary monitor from then on. But the only way to get it to save secondary monitor, is to close it BEFORE you maximize it.

Sorry my mistake, it remembered it wrong, you have to close the window while it's not maximized
