cannot delete folders when using IMAP

i am using Eudora with IMAP. i deleted a folder; it appears in the Trash. I empty the Trash. Even though this folder is no longer on the IMAP server, it keeps re-appearing whenever I start Eudora. Even if I delete the local .msf references to it, it keeps reappearing.

I am not able to reproduce this. I suspect an IMAP server problem or a mis-configuration of that account. See the 'Serer Settings' section of the settings for that account then click the 'Advanced...' button. Talk to your server admin to be sure all the info there is correct.
If you are able to reproduce this, please try try to reproduce it in Thunderbird 3.0.1 (http://www.mozillamessaging.com/en-US/thunderbird/). If the problem is present in Thunderbird please file a bug against Thunderbird. If the problem is NOT present in Thunderbird please let me know or re-open the bug here.
