STR:
 1. Open places-organizer
 2. Choose History in the left pane.
 3. Try to sort the list by visit date, name, etc.

EXPECTED RESULTS: list is resorted
ACTUAL RESULTS: UI reports wrong sorting-state.

I think that resorting by visit-date could be pretty useful, esp. in the sidebar (in which the list isn't "flat"). However, if we just don't want to support it, sorting should be disabled for these queries (API & UI).
Sigh. Tags is broken too.

was done for various ux discussions and seamonkey, as you saw.

Also notice would be cool to move all sorting in the backend, to get already sorted results from the db. This would be particularly interesting for async containers opening, otherwise for each result you get you should go looking for its position. Well it's not impossible but...

Btw we are going toward killing history sidebar, so this is probably low low prio.
