Taras has a 1.83GHz mini on his desk in Oregon that he's using. Can we get him a newer (faster) mini:

    * 2.26GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
    * 2GB 1066MHz DDR3 SDRAM - 2x1GB
    * 160GB Serial ATA Drive
    * SuperDrive 8x (DVD±R DL/DVD±RW/CD-RW)
    * User's Guide (English)
    * Accessory kit

When he comes down to MV for the allhands, he'll bring his old mini, and we can swap.

Taras, let us know if you want to image over from old-mini to new-mini, or would prefer new mini to have fresh clean OSX install?

Is that "want 4gb" or "need 4gb"? 

I ask because:
- the machine we are getting from you has 1gb, so 2gb in the replacement
machine is an improvement over what you are currently using.
- next year, if we are doing a similar "tradeins for talos" event, this mini
would be non-standard and therefore unsuitable for talos.
- switching RAM ourselves here is doable, but on minis is tricky to do and aiui
voids the warranty by opening the case like that.

Taras just gave me his old 1.83ghz mini. Its now labeled and on the table behind Phong's desk.
