Details

We want to create some new topcrash_rank fields that are only settable (for now) by the security-group but will eventually be settable only by a crash-stats user, which will likely use the API to do so. These fields should be *visible* to anyone when filled, just only settable by a specific group.

I talked a bit about this with Dave. We want the following fields:

  * cf_fxtrunk_topcrash_rank
  * cf_fx192_topcrash_rank
  * cf_fx191_topcrash_rank

These fields will get filled by a number between 1 and 100 and we'll use them to move our various tracking wikis[1] into Bugzilla. Eventually, I'm sure Thunderbird and/or SeaMonkey will want the same thing, but let's keep this bug to Firefox in the interest of expediency.

ssidler: I think it's unlikely we would add three custom fields just for this. Assuming you still want this function, have you considered status whiteboard annotations?
