User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; fr; rv:1.9.1.4) Gecko/20091028 Ubuntu/9.10 (karmic) Firefox/3.5.4 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.1.6pre) Gecko/20091104 Shredder/3.0pre When using the Smart Folders view, I find the account list inefficiently wasting space. In my personal organisation, I love the inboxes (I've got many accounts) as they are shown, next having the main folders (Drafts, Sent, Archives, Junk, collapsable Trash, Outbox), but then I'd prefer to see my Local Folders where my filtered mails go to (mailing lists for example). I'm not organized as Bill Adams (see comment : https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=516367#c10) who has subfolders in his accounts. My folders are all in Local Folders. So the display of all my accounts only waste me precious lines that would save me from scrolling down the list to discover new mails in my local folders. Reproducible: Always Expected Results: I'd expect any of the two : - Getting rid of this account list -> but this will definitely bother other users (see previous cited comment) - Having the possibility to customize the order of appearance of things in Smart Folders view (and possibly in any view template, as suggested in Bug : https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=244347). This would solve my problem by allowing me to put the unused entries at the bottom of the list, while allowing other people to manage their account subfolders a smarter way.

on further reflection, sounds to me like you really need to use favorites view.
