During use of Firefox, after few seconds, they can't clic nowhere, like links disappeared. It's valuable for the web links and for the Firefox Links like Refresh, tools....

Reproducible: Always

This bug still exists in Firefox 3.5.6 for Windows.

I noticed it recently whilst trying to use Amazon.  The links at the top of the page stopped working as soon as the page had finished loading.  This rendered Amazon unusable, and so I switched to using Google Chrome.

My friend uses the same version of Firefox on his Windows 7 laptop.  He reports that all pages containing a large number of links are affected in the same way.

This bug is not to be found in previous versions of Firefox.  Fortunately, I still had the installation file for Firefox 3.0.4, so I uninstalled Firefox 3.5.6, reinstalled Firefox 3.0.4, and the problem was solved!

Seriously though, if you want people to keep on using Firefox, you've got to get this fixed.

Muhammad, did you try safe mode as already suggested above? If safe mode does not work, how about a new profile? http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Managing+profiles

Tyler, thanks for your rapid reply.

Following your suggestions, I reinstalled Firefox 3.5.6 and tried using safe mode, but the result was the same.

Then I tried using a new profile.  Same result.

I found this bug most noticeable when loading the Amazon.com "Wish List" page.  After that page has loaded, all the links at the top of the screen become inoperable.

Try loading this page for yourself on Windows XP.  I'm sure it's a general bug, as my friend uses Windows 7 and he reported the same problem on all pages that contain a lot of links.  Only the links at the top of the screen fail to respond.  The links further down the page remain unaffected.

Well, I am not seeing this with Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.3a1pre) Gecko/20091219 Minefield/3.7a1pre (.NET CLR 3.5.30729) ID:20091219042456. Did you make any changes to that new profile?

The only change I made to the new profile was to reset my home page to www.google.co.uk

I have the same problem and I don't know what I can do.
I've Mozilla since fews month, and the problem appear this night (24 december..). I've unistall and install Mozilla, and no changement.
I don't have any installation file for past version of Mozilla so I shearch an other way to result this problem. 

As Killian, link disappear, but appear after one or 2 minutes, and disappear after clic on a link, after appear, disappear..
(Sorry for my bad English.. I'm French)

Can you please download the nighlty build of firefox and try? I am highly suspecting that this is something specific to your computer. But we can try here.
