I'm not terribly picky -- CentOS, Fedora, and/or RHEL are fine.
If it's a ref image that's fine too.  I just need linux with python on it.

Also, if you can connect network, that would be awesome.  This should be on the Mozilla-Build network along with the mobile devices.

You can bm- it or whatever if that's easier to keep track of. bm-foopy ? qm-foopy ?

It's basically going to be the brains behind controlling winmo and wince devices for talos and unit tests.

aki clarified verbally, more like a multi-headed slave, it will be allocated jobs from the mobile-master.

It's a physical server so not possible to clone a ref image.  Can probably hit this this week unless you need it sooner (honestly all you have to do is netboot it and it'll auto-install RHEL).

The hardware itself is pretty old with only one drive.  Should we try to find something a little better to use for this?

What can we get this week?  Can't be a VM.

Not much.  Spares are blades these days.  Something at the office can't be a blade.  Perhaps a mac mini or just run with this box as-is and put in a request for new hardware.

This old keymaster machine is racked, and powered, so lets use that for now. Later as we add WinMO/WinCE devices, we can decide to switch up hardware.
