jetpack.info should expose the OS.  nsIXULRuntime provides it, along with some other info that might be useful.  Ideally we'd return "Windows" instead of "WINNT" and "OS X" instead of "Darwin", or something.

It would be useful for consumers of jetpack.menu at least, since there are OS X-specific Gecko bugs that affect native menus in the menu bar.  It's difficult for Jetpack as a platform to mitigate, so exposing the OS would allow people to sniff and work around them.

We will be monitoring all these issues after the rebooted Jetpack code base is released in the first week of March to ensure their causes are not duplicated. Many of the bugs/issues with the prototype version of Jetpack will be made irrelevant given the structure of the new SDK.
