With the latest release of Firefox, I am observing that Firefox is using lot more memory than before. I have seen memory usage as high as 850 MB. Due to this firefox either hangs or slows down the entire system.
Reproducible: Always

850MB is relative and tell us nothing.
How many pages open, what for URLs and do you get this in the Firefox safemode ?

I have roughly 5-8 tabs (mostly mail accounts and a few news sites) open at a given point of time. I haven't tried it in safe mode. I will try and update the bug.
