User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2b2pre) Gecko/20091106 Firefox/3.5.3
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2b2pre) Gecko/20091106 Firefox/3.5.3

When having one or more pdf documents open using the Adobe Acrobat plugin Aero Peek shows the tabs to be black with only the sidebar on the left displaying properly

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open a pdf document in the browser using Adobe Reader Plugin
2.Use Aero Peek to preview the tab

Actual Results:
A black tab with only the sidebar showing appears

Expected Results:
The document should be displayed properly

Identifier says Firefox/3.5.3 because I have changed it to get some sites working.
What version of acrobat do you have?

I'm using version 9.2.0
Does this still happen with 3.6.3 and reader 9.3.1?
Not only that, now running 3.6.5pre and reader 9.3.2 it also shows the page black not only in the preview but also the actual tab shows up black and I usually have to reload the document to get it to show correctly, hovering over buttons sometimes reveals them and using page up/ down sometimes gets the document to show up correctly.
Also happened with 3.6.4pre and 9.3.1

I've also seen this behaviour consistently with the 3.6.3-Lorentz beta and now with 3.6.4 beta, on both WinXP and Win7 (32bit), and with Adobe reader 9.3.1 and 9.3.2.

If I understand correctly, the Adobe Reader plugin isn't supposed to be affected by OOPP, though the onset of this with the Lorentz beta is troubling.

I haven't seen any other reports of this, yet for those affected I'd suggest that it should be a blocker for 3.6.4 final. Extensions don't seem to be an issue, in that it also happens in safe mode.

Setting as NEW; it would be good if someone with higher privs could change the bug title and platform...

Just wanted to add that the behavior remains the same in FF 4.0b1 (Reader 9.3.3)

This code isn't part of shell integration so moving to widget where most of that code lives.

Component: Shell Integration → Widget: Win32
Product: Firefox → Core

Plugins are no longer supported
