User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1.5) Gecko/20091102 Firefox/3.5.5 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729) Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1.5) Gecko/20091102 Firefox/3.5.5 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729) I have been experiencing this problem in the latest versions of FireFox (including this). When I try to open a link in a new window (using "Open Link in New Window"), I get presented with a new instance of FireFox with nothing in the address bar. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Navigate to any webpage. 2. Right-click any link then click "Open Link in New Window." Actual Results: You will be presented with a new blank instance of FireFox. Expected Results: It should load the opened link in the new instance of FireFox. I have disabled all the addons before trying again. Still the problem persists.
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9.1.6pre) Gecko/20091104 Shiretoko/3.5.6pre This works fine for me. Do you have the same problem in safe-mode / with a new profile? http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Basic+Troubleshooting#Make_a_new_profile Also a clean re-installation could help: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/
Version: unspecified → 3.5 Branch
Further, do you see any error in the error console?
No response from reporter for a longer period. Closing as incomplete. Feel free to reopen if it is still visible in most recent Firefox builds like 3.5.7 or 3.6RC2.
