Please save your session and when you restart Firefox do that by selecting the Save Mode (http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Safe+Mode). That will disable all of your extensions. One of those can be the fault.

(In reply to comment #3) > the updated version of 3.5.5 that I have does not have a safe mode What do you mean? It always has a safe mode command line option. Don't you have a menu item? If not then run firefox from the command line like "firefox.exe -safe-mode".
I typed firefox.exe -safe-mode and it load regular firefox. Also, went to C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox and it only has firefox.exe, crashreporter.exe and updater.exe in that folder. In addition I just manually disabled all the extensions and the problem is still there. I don't have firefox in the menu. Do you know what the safe mode is called in the reg,I will check there.

Please only post your comment once! Thanks. you have to run "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe -safe-mode" and please close firefox before and check that no processes are running in the task manager.

I sent a screen shot of what I'm seeing in the firefox folder.

H - there will not be an extra "safe mode" Firefox in your programs folder. Safe mode is just a different way of running Firefox (from the same firefox.exe). If the directions at http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode do not work, run Henrik's command from comment #7. Also, please ensure you don't have Firefox set to delete history when you quit. This will cause your session to be deleted as well.

Thanks,I had delete history enabled on the earlier versions and save tabs still worked. I disabled it and save tabs work. Thanks to all
