Actual Results: The browser crashes. Expected Results: Uploaded the file. If this only happens to me, I'd be willing to further go into detail. You can contact me at adamjhendricks@gmail.com. The files are in a folder called "archive", which is what I renamed my shared folder. I put an alias of the folder on my desktop. Safari has no problems uploading these files.
Do you get a crash or a hang/freeze ? Do you have any addons installed ?
The software freezes and I'm left with the spinning color-wheel (aka, the mac-hourglass). I have to force quit to restart. I have 2 addons: the Google toolbar, and stumbleupon
Keywords: hang, stackwanted
Summary: Whether on gmail or craigslist, if I upload a file that is in my Dropbox shared folder (meaning there's a copy of it on my dropbox remote drive), the browser crashes and has to be force quit. → Whether on gmail or craigslist, if I upload a file that is in my Dropbox shared folder (meaning there's a copy of it on my dropbox remote drive), the browser hangs and has to be force quit.
Can you please try it without addons ? http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Safe+Mode
I deleted the google toolbar and now it's working
