Spam folder in Gmail is set NOT to check for new messages. New messages are found and marked anyway. There is no way to globally tell Tb to IGNORE new mail in this folder, or even to mark all as read by default.

Reproducible: Always

Actual Results:  
Spam folder is marked as having new mail every few minutes as spam arrives. Folder is highlighted as containing new messages. This did not happen in builds a few weeks ago; new spam was only marked if folder was opened.


May be related to bug 493455 but not certain - bug is resolved, but this behavior still occurs.

Could ignore this issue by unsubscribing from Spam folder, but it is useful to retain it as dragging uncaught spam into folder helps Gmail classify unwanted mail in the future.
