Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2b1) Gecko/20091029 Firefox/3.6b1 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729)
Version 3.6b1 will not open the home pages that I have selected. when I open the pages manually and then select 'use current pages' and click ok and then close the browser and then open it I get 1 or maybe 2 pages out of 10 that open. the rest I have to open manually.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. select several sites to open in tabs
2. select 'use current pages' click ok
3. close browser and reopen
Actual Results:
1 or maybe 2 pages out of 10 that open. the rest I have to open manually.
Expected Results:
all pages to open

I have just up dated to 3.6b2 and I am having the same problem. It only opens the first 1 or 2 tabs out of the 10 I have set to open.

I just spent the last 10 minutes reopening the pages I need open.
I looked in the home page list and all pages are listed there, but the most that are opened is 2 and only the first 2 at that.

I checked it out and it did not help because I don't have the file they say to edit. As for not being saved all the pages are saved but they do not open. Only the first 1 or 2 open.

Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US; rv:1.9.2b3pre) Gecko/20091110 Namoroka/3.6b3pre
I tested this but was not able to reproduce. Does it work in safe-mode / with a new profile?

As I mentioned above, since I am the only one who uses this computer I do not set profiles. It would be a hassle for me to do so just to get onto the internet.

Ria wants you to create a test profile in firefox, which takes about 2 mins on the long side.

Ok, I created a test profile, and it seems to work in that, but still not in the default.

I do not want something where I have to go in and create a profile to use it I wish to be able to use it from the time I install it. then IF I wish to create a profile then I will do it.

Basically you always have a profile, you just sometimes get corruptions and other junk that messes it up. Then you just need to create a new one. Since your proper homepages open in the new profile, I think some addon or something is messing it. support.mozilla.com can help you move all your old data from the old profile to the new one.

This is interesting, because I had the problem right from the start. and several of the addons that I had were disabled because they werenot compatible with 3.6b1.

just because an addon says it is compatible, does not mean it will not cause problems. Addons are from third-party developers, so they often cause issues outside of our control.
