Description

After closing the last Mozilla window the process mozilla.exe remains open and
according to the task manager still consumes memory.

When the opening mozilla.exe it comes to additional bugs (apparently with memory
allocation).

Marian, I'm not seeing this on current win32 builds. could you download a new
build and see if it is still happening. Is this 100% reproduceable? Does it only
happen after periods of use or can you repeat it by launching browser with
about:blank start page and closing it immediately?

Actually I have downloaded it yesterday or today (I don't know any more...) --
the build ID should give information on that.

I found this "bug" twice know, of three times checking the task manager. So it
is rather 66% reproduceable.

I will test again when I have time for that.

I haven't seen this is any recent builds on Win2000. If the page consume
*lot's* of memory, Mozilla will take a little while to release it, but it will
die when that is completed. You didn't have the Javascript console or something
else open did you?

I second the notion that I haven't seen this recently.

This bug is more than a month old... should it be WORKSFORME?

Marian, please reopen this if you are able to reproduce with current builds.
