The pref descriptions need more work.  Not all of the current ones are necessary, and a number of the remaining ones are going to be too long once they are localized.  Until we can get it right, we should remove them.

I think that a number of the concepts used here (JavaScript, cookies, plugins) are not going to be understandable to a wide audience, so there is value to some explanation, but those people won't, by and large, be changing these settings anyway.

The preference descriptions are optional. We are not removing the capability.

Does this include removing the description for "About Firefox" and "Language" items too?
