Attempting to open this file produces the message: Warning The following disk images failed to mount Image Reason Camino-2.0b4.dmg corrupt image Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Download Camino-2.0b4.dmg from specified URL 2. Run `open Camino-2.0b4.dmg` from the command line 3. Sigh in exasperation Actual Results: As described. Expected Results: Mount the disk image so I could try running the beta. I notice that there is no reference to OSX *version* on the OS selection. Given the growing incompatibilities between OSX versions this may be relevant...
What version of OS X are you running?
OSX 10.3.9
Since Camino 2.x will not run on anything less than 10.4, this isn't really surprising (although I thought the DMG would mount), and probably not something we care to fix even if it's reproducible. INVALID since it's not really a bug, or WONTFIX since we aren't going to waste time on it regardless?
Hardware: PowerPC → All
The 2.0 dmg uses the 10.4+ UDBZ compression, so it can't be opened on 10.3. The fact that 10.3 gives an unhelpful error message is outside of our control.
