User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686 (x86_64); en-US; rv:1.9.1.4) Gecko/20091017 SeaMonkey/2.0 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686 (x86_64); en-US; rv:1.9.1.4) Gecko/20091017 SeaMonkey/2.0 There are some junk messages in my inbox folder which I attempted to move to my junk folder by moving my mouse over them and clicking with the left mouse button and dragging the message to my junk folder by to no avail. I have a dual boot machine which has Ubuntu 9.10 with Seamonkey 2.0 on it and this is not a problem. So it seems to me it is a Windows 7 64 bit Seamonkey 2.0 problem. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2.As above 3. Actual Results: Cannot move files with the email files with the mouse Expected Results: Should be able to move email files into different folders I have had other problems with Seamonkey 2.0 and Windows 7 64 bit which I have posted bugs for such as not being able to grab the address bar to create a bookmark
Version: unspecified → SeaMonkey 2.0 Branch
I see this problem quite often: I cannot move mail messages from my Inbox to other folders by dragging with the mouse, nor by using the "move" option from the context menu. There is no error message, just nothing happens. Restarting SeaMonkey and rebuilding the Summary file for the Inbox did not help. I am using IMAP to access an Exchange server. Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1.9) Gecko/20100317 SeaMonkey/2.0.4 on Windows XP SP3 German
Additional observation regarding my preceding report: When clicking on the target folder of the move, I got the message "This folder is in use by another operation; please wait until it is finished". It could be that this prevented me from moving the messages, and that the problem is that the move fails silently instead of explaining the problem to the user.
Do you still see this problem?

I think the problem occurred when the Exchange mailbox contained messages that were not delivered correctly via IMAP. In this case, messages after such a message in the mailbox would not download. Sorting the mailbox physically (Order received) helped locate the problem messages.
SeaMonkey 2.1RC2 is now out. When 2.1 final is out later this month you might want to see if this problem still occurs in that version.
