User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.1.6pre) Gecko/20091109 Ubuntu/8.04 (hardy) Shiretoko/3.5.6pre Build Identifier: 2.0.0.23 (20090817) When a user gets an email containing the above mailto: URL (mailto:jondoe@example.com;janesmith@example.org) and clicks on it to send a new email, the recipient addresses are garbled. Result: undeliverable email. When a comma is used to separate addresses all is fine. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. click on the mailto: link above 2. 3. Actual Results: Email was not deliverable. Expected Results: Thunderbird should accept the semikolon ; as a separator for email addresses. RFC2368 http://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc2368.txt IMHO does not allow empty recipient addresses, Thunderbird should not generate them.
