Error:
c:/buildbot/tamarin-redux/windows/builds/3136-9c032958f3a0/windows/avmshell.exe testdata/memstats.abc

Error: No registered event: MMgc::MemoryProfiler::DumpFatties FAILED!

To repro:
Run ./runtests.py from tamarin-redux/test/cmdline (be sure to uncomment the skip in testconfig.txt)

Injected somewhere in r3122-r3135, but most probably was Lars or Tom R. in revs 3125-28.

I'm guessing NAB - likely a result of the memory profiler now being off in release builds (it impacts performance too much - see bug #528797)?
Component: Virtual Machine → Garbage Collection (mmGC)
QA Contact: vm → gc

Remove the testcase from test/runsmokes.txt until this gets resolved in the testsuite

# skip test due to issue https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=529160
# cd cmdline;${py} ./testMemstats.py

Can we skip the test just for non-debugger builds?

Comment 4

Extra credit if we can have a test for release builds where success means the memory profiler is disabled (so we don't accidentally re-enable it).
