When looking for the Firefox beta I've seen a number of people (myself included) google for firefox and end up on Firefox page (http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/firefox.html). It would be nice if there was a link from that page to the beta page. This might even have a significant effect on our beta uptake.
Great thought, but there already is a link to the beta page from this and other versions of the Firefox download page.

Indeed. I guess I missed it because "Beta" wasn't in the "Test drive the new Firefox!" title.
